Where Are You Searching For The Lord?

Are you looking for God? Are you seeking deliverance? Are you looking for breakthrough? If your answer is yes to any of the above then my next question to you is this? Where are you looking? Where are you searching? Where are you seeking? What are you searching for? How are you searching? The thing is with the first sign of trouble our thinking goes for a toss. We find ourselves in utter confusion and chaos and running helter-skelter to find a solution to our problems, but the Bible, the everlasting Word of God has a solution, has an answer to this problem. In fact the Word of God has an answer to every problem if we only look.

Let’s begin by looking into the Word of God.

Jeremiah 31:33 says "This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time," declares the LORD.
"I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Jeremiah 31:34 says “No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the LORD.
"For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."

Even though this passage is from the Old Testament it is talking of the time when Jesus would come and visit us on this earth and then send us the Mighty Holy Spirit to be our friend and comforter. It is by His Holy Spirit that God chooses to dwell among His people or rather to aptly put it dwell in His people. The Word very clearly says “No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest”. You know the Lord for yourself and have no need for another to teach you. If you are born again then you have the mighty Holy Spirit dwelling right inside you and through His Holy Spirit God Himself dwelling inside of you. And this is a covenant that God has made with us. Stop running about and trying to find a fix for what ails you. Instead find a quiet place and get alone with God and He will not fail you nor forsake you. He has promised to not leave you. This is especially true for the people who run to others for prayer, who run to the pastor for prayer, who run to the church for prayer (not that any of this is wrong), but all the people you go to themselves need to go to God to find a solution for your problem. Now when you know God is living right inside you and is an ever present help at the time of trouble why run about. Choose instead to get alone with God and let Him guide and teach you and fix everything that ails you.
