What You Do Not Know Will Not Hurt You. What You Know And Do Not Do Will Hurt You!

Think about it! Ignorance is bliss; I will be the first to agree (well at least before I understood the greater scheme of things). I really do not have the time or the inclination or even the desire to fill my mind, head and thoughts with things which do not profit me or even concern me in the very least. Yes, ignorance is indeed bliss. However, ignorance is not going to solve any problems, not yours and not mine. Even knowing and that knowledge itself will not solve any problems, not yours and definitely not mine. What solves problems is putting knowledge into action/practice i.e. in other words acting on knowledge or information you have received or know.

For instance how many times has God spoken to you directly or indirectly about the importance of praying in the spirit? Yet, how much have you put this into practice for yourself? I know, you know and just about everybody knows praying in tongues will benefit, bless and edify us very, very much and especially if done on a regular and daily basis. Yet knowing this bit of information will not benefit, bless and edify you. Rather the acting on this information i.e. in other words doing it, acting on it, and putting it into practice will benefit, bless, and edify us. We all know that eating good nutritious food will benefit us and give us good health. But actually eating good nutritious food will give us good health and not just the knowledge. We have to actually end up eating good nutritious food for the actual benefit, just knowing about it is not enough and will not benefit us. Knowledge is good, it lets us know what’s good and what’s bad. But the real benefit is in acting on that knowledge, and not just knowing about it.

Many of us are wondering why is God not blessing us. Why are we not receiving the breakthrough we have been seeking and praying for? Well the answer is simple. The Lord Jesus Christ is a prayer answering God. Every single time I or you have prayed and asked for help He has answered us. Now God always answers our prayers with knowledge or more specifically a word (rhema) that will come to us either from the church pulpit, a pastor, a man or woman of God, the Word of God (Bible), the Holy Spirit and in a million other possible ways. But this word (rhema) requires action, the action could be just simple obedience of doing something, or forgiving someone, or believing God, but it involves some action on our part. This action part is as important as anything else for the miracle to take place. Now if you are waiting for breakthrough, answered prayer or a miracle, then go back to the last time or instance when God spoke to you and check if you have obeyed and done what God instructed you to do? Most likely you have not (that’s a human folly). All of us rejoice when we hear the message, but very few will actually follow through and do the action part of it. Once you put the message into action your miracle or breakthrough will follow. The action part is important. It might involve giving on your part, or forgiving someone, or maybe God has called you to pray in tongues, or maybe read the Bible and stand on the Word of God. Go back to the last time God spoke to you and make sure you have followed through and obeyed God in the action part too. Forgiveness is the most important condition that needs to be met for answered prayer. If you have any unforgiveness inside you then you can forget about your prayers being answered. If you are not able to forgive then ask the Lord Jesus Christ to help you forgive and He will help you to forgive and release the concerned person.

Remember obedience is the key to answered prayer, the blessing and the breakthrough you are seeking. Put into action what you know and the results will follow.
