Today I am going to share about a blog I have come across and like immensely. I first heard about Wakish when a comment was left on my blog “OpenID Accepted Here! Technology Working For Us!” by Wakish and as always I replied to the comment on my blog and then went reading on the blog link provided by Wakish, something I always do. These are good habits to inculcate and follow especially to interact with other bloggers and also it’s a good habit to leave your blog link (which is your calling card) since many others including the blog owners will come to know about you and your blog only in this way.
The comment by Wakish was warm, friendly and even encouraging to someone like me who started blogging only in February of this year and this only goes to show the kind of person Wakish is – warm, friendly and encouraging of others – great character to have in anybody!!! Anyway as I said I went reading on Wakish’s blog at http://wakish.info/ and was very much pleasantly surprised by the quality of blogs I found there and ended up reading and reading and then reading some more at Wakish’s blog. I immediately bookmarked the site and have been a frequent visitor there and have been consistently rewarded with great blogs which have only served to enhance my knowledge. Another thing that impressed me immensely was the design/theme of the blog itself and from what I gather it has been designed by Wakish himself and is not a free theme downloaded from somewhere and nor is it a theme that has been paid for and designed by some professional website/theme designer. This again goes to show the talent and the creativity of Wakish since I cannot do anything of that sort and have to resort to free themes and will probably go in for a professional designer when I can afford one.
Coming to the content on the blog, well Wakish has put on his blog that 1) I find it a real challenge to be able to write on anything instead of 1 particular category or niche, 2) I want to show that a blogger like me can achieve as high as a blogger who is niche‑specific, and this goes to show the range of topics that are covered in Wakish’s blog. I am still in the process of discovering the entire knowledge contained on Wakish’s blog and keep on discovering something new with each visit to http://wakish.info. One thing that surprised me (as I am sure it surprised a lot of people) was Wakish getting an interview with John Chow, you will find the interview on http://wakish.info.
