Sambar (plus fish fry) is always the bare minimum for me to have a complete meal
I in fact like Andhra and Tamil style sambar along with Kerala style (though I have a different view on Karnataka style sweet sambar)
Btw, Rajeev, Google PR is underway and glad to see that you are at PR3… Mine is PR2 right now. Not sure if they have completed the update – I would have been happier with a 3 or 4
How's your Pepperjam ads performing compared to AdSense or Bidvertiser… Though I signed up last month, I am yet to put it.
Cheers,
Ajith
Makes my mouth water (thinking of Sambar and fish fry). Must have my wife prepare it soon.
Ajith, Pepperjam I have only started recently, but honestly its not performing all that greatly at the moment. AdSense is the best but Kontera, Widgetbucks, AdBrite too perform well for me. Bidvertiser is yet to pick up on my blog as of now. Need to make a decision in a while about which network to continue with and which to discontinue. I have some other networks too like Never Blue Ads, More Niche, LinkWorth that I need to make a decision on.
I updated the theme on my blog to go for a fast loading theme and with a single sidebar so that has brought down the ads display, but it means I have to concentrate on the high performing ones and let go of the non-performing ones.
Coming to Google PageRank, well I never really check it or tried linking to increase my PR. In fact the site I was checking http://www.whatsmypagerank.com/ even now shows my PR as -1 and I have become aware of my PR 3 only with you pointing it out. Thanks for updating me. I spent a lot of time for a month working on social networking, linking, increasing backlinks, and doing just about everything to make my blog popular, but it was at the cost of posting blogs and I found it was all to no avail. All statistics showed that Google Search was bringing in more than 80% of my traffic and that was based only on content and nothing else. That really changed me into concentrating only on writing blogs and not really bothering about anything else. I guess once we have blogs with 500,000 or more visitors we can really work on monetization and optimizing the blog, but I have found only good content will get you to the 500,000 mark in terms of visitors/readers of your blog.
