MailBrowser Review!

MailBrowser is a new entrant and Gmail Plugin that I’m using and the basic idea behind it is to help you easily manage your contacts and attachments in your email… well only Gmail. Right now it is available only for Firefox and Internet Explorer, but a Google Chrome version is on the way. It also works only on Gmail (both Gmail and Gmail for Apps) but that is great for me personally since I use Google Apps. Its primary intended purpose is to bring the functionality of Outlook to Gmail right in the browser in terms of 3rd party plugins without having to go back to Outlook.

Watch the video below to see how it runs.

The verdict – It is easy to use and easy to hide and get out of the way should you not want to see it and one gripe I have with it is that it is visible on all tabs and not just the Gmail tab. It makes sense for something like this to work only in the Gmail tab right? All said and done it works great and right out of the box and for now I’m hanging onto it.
