Well not really Chiranjeevi’s dosa (Chiranjeevi to the uninitiated is an actor and a Telugu superstar, though his fans call him megastar and yes I am one of them too), however it’s a dosa made popular by him since it’s supposedly made regularly at his home and he has reportedly given the recipe to the hotel. I, for one, have not had this dosa before, but my wife has had it on several occasions and wanted to have it again so our entire family ended up at Chutney’s for lunch. After having the Steamed Dosa A.K.A. Chiranjeevi’s dosa, I can definitely say it’s good and can give it a hearty recommendation to anyone. It’s not at all oily, very tasty and quite filling. We topped it up with sweet lassi again very well done here, but I would still rate Paradise Special Faluda as the cornerstone of Hyderabadi lassi/faluda.
Still not learning from experience I was foolhardy to follow this again with very oily and yes very tasty Rava dosa, but now a good 4+ hours later my stomach is still complaining! Hope to have learnt a lesson at least this time, but then again probably not.
