The worship began with the song “Let It Rain” at the local church I attend and the worship leader was going…
“Let it rain, let it rain.
Open the floodgates of Heaven”
As this was going on I saw a vision of a cloud coming towards us with rain coming down from it, but then it stopped before it reached me. In the vision I asked “Lord, why has it not reached me” and the Holy Spirit said begin to praise God. I began to praise God and the cloud came and stopped right over me and I sure got drenched. This was all in the vision and then the vision ended.
Next song the worship leader sang was…
“Who is like the Lord
There is no one
Stand up and give Him the praise
Praise the Lord
Praise the Lord”
You can certainly bet I had a blast and got totally drenched in His presence during the worship and enjoyed myself so much that I ended up attending worship in two services. These spiritual truths on the power of praise and worship are something we believers tend to forget and its up to the Holy Spirit to remind us time and again. If you find yourself needing a touch from God then go ahead and begin to praise and worship the Lord Jesus Christ and He will come through.
