Lessons From Job Part 3! Do Not Fear…

Job said in Job 3:25 “What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.” Faith creates! It is as simple as that. Even the world we live in and the entire universe were created by faith as evidenced in Hebrews 11:3 “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.” The opposite of faith is unbelief and other emotions like disbelief, fear, doubt, worry, dread, etc. It goes without saying that even fear creates just as faith creates since it’s the exact opposite of faith. However, fear creates in reverse or rather creates bad unlike faith which creates in positive i.e. creates good. Find it hard to believe? Well you would be surprised to know there are medically documented cases where patients have been healed, sometimes even of incurable diseases, believing they were taking medication for it, but in reality were taking sugar pellets or something similar. This is known as the “placebo effect”, just Google it for more information. The reverse too is documented with people fearing themselves into sickness, disease, etc. This is the power of faith or even faith in reverse which is fear. In fact anything you believe will create, as simple as that. Lord Jesus Himself said in Mark 9:23 "Everything is possible for him who believes." You are either believing or believing in reverse i.e. disbelieving at all times. It’s either faith or fear in action at all times. Find it hard to believe? The Bible in fact does say in Romans 14:23 “Everything that does not come from faith is sin.” In fact Lord Jesus put it better in Mark 5:36 “Do not be afraid; only believe.” Only believe, it does not get clearer than this. All you are required to do is “only believe”. It goes without saying the first part “do not be afraid” is equally important. Faith cancels out fear and fear cancels out faith. It is up to you decide whether you want to be in faith or be in fear. As you see either you are in faith or you are in fear, and both create. What you create is up to you and nobody else. Either you walk by faith or walk in fear. Go ahead and make the right choice.
