Knowing is one thing, experiencing is altogether another thing. Ephesians 3:19 says “And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” To be filled with all the fulness of God we need to know the love of Jesus Christ that passes understanding. Once you begin to do this on a consistently regular basis the best that God has in His kitty will begin to flow into your life in abundance. This is true for us human beings too. We shower the best that we have and can on our loved ones be it our spouse, siblings, parents, friends, etc. How much more will God who is love shower us with the very best once we experience and walk in the revelation of His love. Experiencing God’s love is not difficult and in fact it very much depends on us and not God. The how to do this is revealed in Jude 1:20-21 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. The instruction is clear and reveals the onus to be on us with “keep yourselves in the love of God”. The how to do this is revealed in the former part of the verse with “praying in the Holy Ghost”. Praying in the Holy Ghost or praying in tongues does two things based on these scriptures. Actually it achieves a lot more for the believer, but based on God’s Word in this scripture it will “build your most holy faith” and “keep you in the love of God”.
1 Corinthians 13:13 says “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” Charity means love and this verse says that faith, hope, and love are the greatest and that of these three love is the greatest. Now connecting Jude 1:20-21 I can operate in both faith and love just by the single act of praying in tongues and mind you Jude is talking of God’s faith and God’s love here when referring to “holy faith” and “love of God”. Praise God! I pray you get it, it’s so easy. Just by praying in tongues I operate in God’s faith and God’s love. I know it sounds too simple and religion does want to complicate things, but really that’s all there is to it. Just by praying in tongues you can begin to operate in God’s faith and God’s love.
