As I noted in my previous post my birthday celebrations began the very midnight of the 3rd of March with my wife and my sister arranging for me to cut the birthday cake on the stroke of midnight with even my parents being woken up for the same. Cake cutting over since I was off work the next day I was definitely in no hurry to get to bed so spent sometime watching TV and also blogging the previous blog "On My Birthday!". The next day i.e. on my birthday I woke up early to have one of my favorite breakfasts prepared by mom consisting of Bombay Toast. My wife informed me that Bombay Toast is also better known as French Toast so I assume a lot of you guys would be familiar with it. Breakfast done it was a leisure day for me so just relaxed at home the entire day catching up with friends who called in to wish me and also relatives. Most of the day was spent with my lovely wife who was pampering me no end with endless cups of tea and whatever else I demanded of her. Of course truth be told this happens on a daily basis and was not something limited to the occasion of my birthday. Yes, you are right, I am a very lucky guy with a wonderful wife. Lunch was a veritable feast consisting of kobbari annam (coconut rice), sambhar, chicken curry and raitha. Dessert was delicious chocolate cake. After lunch I was back to lazing about and spending some time on the system and fiddling with stuff. Evening we had guests coming in and then it was time for dinner and we ended up going out for dinner with all the guests where again I ended up hogging a lot of stuff and the consequence was my stomach was complaining till 3 am. All in all I had a great birthday, spent with my lovely wife and of course my loving family. You can find pictures from this birthday on this website in the gallery section under "Rajiv’s Birthday 2008".
Here’s ending this wishing that everyone reading this has as much fun and a blast on their birthday whenever it is.
