I read a lot of technology news, be it on Google News, CNN, BBC, etc. and during one of my recent reading sessions on CNN I came across an article about a TV that cost $20,000, a price at which you could purchase a decent car. Before I pose the question “would you pay for one?” to the readers of this blog, it’s only fair that I ask myself that same question and also provide the answer along with the reasons. So here we go – well it’s understandable that if I spend a lot of time reading technology news and technology blogs that I am a technology or rather a gadget freak and like any gadget freak the cost does not matter, but having the latest and the best in technology matters. Also, what really sold me on this TV was the one liner that said “Watch The Godfather, The Matrix or some other classic on this set and you’ll see a different movie. Really.” Wow, to put something like that the reviewer must really be convinced himself and that conviction also convinced me I should admit. The only thing that negates going in for the TV for myself is that I cannot afford it now. However, when I can afford it I shall certainly be checking out Runco the manufacturer of high end electronic products. You can read the entire article/review on CNN here.
